PROCEDURE FOR PREPARING THE ACADEMIC AGREEMENT

The first step after the final assignment of places for both the ERASMUS+ and SICUE mobility programs is to prepare the draft academic agreement. This draft must be prepared following the instructions below. Once the draft has been reviewed and approved by the academic coordinators of the degree programs, it must be formalized through the ORI online application. Important: the information here only refers to preparing the draft academic agreement. For more information about the online application, you can consult the International Relations Office (ORI): ORI Website

PREPARATION OF THE LEARNING AGREEMENT FOR THE DEGREES IN JOURNALISM, AUDIOVISUAL COMMUNICATION, AND THE DOUBLE DEGREE IN AUDIOVISUAL COMMUNICATION AND JOURNALISM

1º) Download the template document:
TEMPLATE ACADEMIC AGREEMENT FOR ERASMUS+ AND SICUE (to download, you must first log in with your UMH username and password).

2º) Complete the template document with the information collected from the destination university’s website.

At this stage, you must propose equivalences between two courses (UMH and destination university). These must have at least 70% similarity in content and credits. Review course syllabi, content units, teaching methods, competencies, etc. Similarity must focus on the subject matter and content, not necessarily the course name.

Instructions for completing the academic agreement template:

The left block is for UMH course information (name, link, and credits).
The right block is for destination university course information (name, link, and credits).
In the “web link” field for each course, paste the link to the official program or syllabus. If the destination university provides this information in PDFs, upload the documents to your Google Drive and paste the shared link in the corresponding Excel cell.

File naming convention:
LASTNAME1_LASTNAME2_FIRSTNAME_DEGREE
(Degree should be indicated as: CAU, CAUP, or PER).
Example: GARCIA_GARCIA_ANTONIO_CAUP.xls

3º) Instructions for review of the proposed academic agreement (STUDENT – VICE-DEAN):

Once the first version of the document is completed, upload it to the following Google Drive link and notify the academic coordinator:
Google Drive Folder
After review by the academic coordinator, you will receive an email with the link to the online document and any modifications or changes required.
Always work on this online document. Do not download and re-upload previous versions.

4º) Formalization of the academic agreement:

Once you have approval from the vice-dean, complete the official model and submit it directly to ORI through their online application.
This phase will be explained during the annual informative session organized by ORI after the final assignment of places.

For questions about this formalization phase, contact ORI directly: ORI Website
