The Council of Europe and the Children’s Platform are organizing the webinar “How to Report on Sexual Violence Against Children and Adolescents: Guidelines and Practical Tools for Journalists,” an online training session aimed at communication professionals, educators, and students.

The activity will address the ethical and professional challenges involved in reporting on sexual violence against minors, offering practical tools, guidance on language use, headline framing, and the inclusion of support resources in news coverage. During the session, a specific reporting guide on this topic—developed in collaboration with journalists and experts—will also be presented.
