Next Monday, December 15, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., the 19th Employment Conference will be held in Classroom 4 of the Atzavares Building (Elche campus). The event is aimed at students of Journalism, Audiovisual Communication, and the Double Degree in Audiovisual Communication and Journalism. It is organized by the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences of Elche and the Occupational Observatory.
During the session, active professionals and UMH alumni will share their experiences and provide first-hand insight into the professional realities of the different career paths associated with these degrees. The following speakers will participate in this edition:
-
Yanire Perona, journalist at TeleElx and Journalism alumna.
-

-

In addition to professional testimonials, representatives from the Faculty, the Occupational Observatory, and Alumni UMH will also take part.
Students who complete the complementary training linked to the conference (available under Courses and Conferences → Conferences on the Occupational Observatory website) may have the activity recognized for 0.5 optional credits.
The aim of this conference is to bring students closer to the real demands of the sector: understanding which profiles are most in demand, which skills are valued by companies, how recruitment processes work, and what opportunities exist in each field. The services of the Occupational Observatory will also be presented, as it is designed to support students in their transition into the labor market.
Registration, both for the conference and the complementary training, is free of charge and can be completed through Courses and Conferences → Conferences on the Occupational Observatory website.
