Are you 17–19 years old, interested in journalism, social media, and video creation? Verificat and the German Press Agency (dpa) have launched the 5th edition of the Teen Fact‑Checking Network Scholarship (TFCN), an international initiative for 10 young people across Spain to learn how to verify news and share fact-checked information on Instagram and TikTok.

This scholarship, already established in countries such as the USA, Germany, India, and Brazil, offers selected participants:

• €300 gross stipend

• TikToker kit: tripod, ring light, and microphone

• Training and mentorship from Verificat journalists

• Participation in an online international newsroom with other young fact-checkers

• Publication of their videos on Verificat’s official social media

• Certificate of recognition upon completion

Over the course of four months, participants will investigate false rumors circulating on social media, verify them using reliable sources, and create audiovisual content debunking misinformation.
