The Zoom In University Film Festival 2026 has opened its call for short film submissions, aimed at university students. The submission period will remain open until May 28, 2026, and entries must have a maximum duration of eight minutes.

Zoom In is established as a space for showcasing and connecting emerging audiovisual talent. This section is included as a non-competitive category within FICIE (Mostrat) and is expected to attract an audience of over 700 people during its screenings. Participation in this section does not exclude submission to the festival’s official competition.

The event is promoted by the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences at the Elche campus and is part of the ecosystem of the Festival de Cine de Elche, reinforcing the commitment of Universidad Miguel Hernández to university-level audiovisual creation.
