The Vice-Rectorate for Culture, Equality and Diversity of UMH, through the Equality Unit, is organizing the free winter course Inclusive Language and Communication, which will be held online from February 10 to March 3, 2026. This activity forms part of the actions included in the University’s Second Equality Plan.

The course provides training to identify sexism in language and offers tools for inclusive communication, from a gender perspective, taking into account the impact of the internet, social media, and artificial intelligence on current communication dynamics.

With a total duration of 25 hours, the program is structured into four sessions that include live-streamed and recorded classes, written materials, and discussion forums. The course is coordinated by Purificación Heras González and taught by faculty specialized in gender and communication.

Enrollment is free, with a €30 deposit that will be refunded upon successful completion of the course. The registration period is open from October 30, 2025, to February 9, 2026.
