The Diversity Unit of the Vice-Rectorate for Culture, Equality and Diversity of UMH has organized the free winter course The Representation of the Roma People in Cinema, which will begin on February 9, 2026.

The course The Representation of the Roma People in Cinema provides a deeper understanding of the origin and evolution of popular stereotypes affecting the Roma population, as well as the influence of literature, film, and television on their construction. Its aim is to clearly distinguish between reality and fiction and, in doing so, to prevent the formation and perpetuation of potentially discriminatory prejudices.
