<\/p>\nMiguel Hern\u00e1ndez University (UMH) once again joins the celebrations of International Women\u2019s Day with an event dedicated to reflection and feminist analysis. Next Monday, March 9, 2026, the Aula Magna of the Altabix building (Elche campus) will host the event \u201cIt Is Still Time for Feminism,\u201d organized by the institution\u2019s Equality Unit. Admission is free, subject to capacity.<\/p>\n
The activity will begin at 10:00 a.m. with an opening session led by Rosario Carmona Paredes, Director of the Equality Unit, and Purificaci\u00f3n Heras Gonz\u00e1lez, Deputy Vice-Rector for Equality and Diversity.<\/p>\n
Screening and discussion with Zua M\u00e9ndez and Teresa Lozano<\/strong><\/p>\n The core of the event will be the screening of the documentary \u201cIt Is Still Time for Feminism,\u201d a work that invites reflection on the current state of the movement. After the screening, at 11:45 a.m., a round table and discussion will take place featuring the participation of the film\u2019s directors, screenwriters, and producers: Teresa Lozano and Zua M\u00e9ndez, known for their project Towanda Rebels.<\/p>\n This discussion space will be moderated by Professor Juana Aznar M\u00e1rquez, a member of the Research Group \u201cEconomy, Culture and Gender\u201d (ECULGE) at UMH.<\/p>\n The event will conclude at 12:30 p.m. with closing remarks by Anastasia T\u00e9llez Infantes, Director of ECULGE and coordinator of the activity, and Jes\u00fas Mula Grau, Professor of Journalism.<\/p>\n This event is also supported by the ECULGE group and the First Vice Presidency and the Department of Social Services, Equality, and Housing of the Generalitat Valenciana.<\/p>\n Date:<\/strong> Monday, March 9, 2026 <\/p>\n Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University (UMH) once again joins the celebrations of International Women\u2019s Day with an event dedicated to reflection and feminist analysis.
