{"id":6191,"date":"2026-01-21T17:14:09","date_gmt":"2026-01-21T16:14:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/periodismo.umh.es\/?p=6191"},"modified":"2026-01-22T11:11:55","modified_gmt":"2026-01-22T10:11:55","slug":"expedicion-tahina-can-2026-a-vietnam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/periodismo.umh.es\/en\/2026\/01\/21\/expedicion-tahina-can-2026-a-vietnam\/","title":{"rendered":"Tahina-Can 2026 Expedition to Vietnam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\"https:\/\/www.tahina-can.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/tahinacan-2026-vietnam-990x660.jpg\" alt=\"Escena m\u00edstica, un mar entre monta\u00f1as con barcos a vela y un gran drag\u00f3n en el cielo\"><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"583\"><strong data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"261\">The Tahina-Can Expedition is a travel journalism training project promoted by the Autonomous University of Barcelona which, for the past 20 years, has offered university students the opportunity to learn journalism on the ground in an international context.<\/strong> The <strong data-start=\"266\" data-end=\"309\">2026 edition will take place in Vietnam<\/strong> and is open to <strong data-start=\"325\" data-end=\"369\">Journalism undergraduate students at UMH<\/strong> who wish to take part in an intensive experience of practical workshops in <strong data-start=\"445\" data-end=\"512\">television, photojournalism, print journalism, and social media<\/strong>, combining travel, teamwork, and real journalistic content production.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"585\" data-end=\"686\">During the trip, participants attend <strong data-start=\"622\" data-end=\"641\">daily workshops<\/strong> organized around three main specializations:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"688\" data-end=\"770\">\n<li data-start=\"688\" data-end=\"706\">\n<p data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"706\"><strong data-start=\"690\" data-end=\"704\">Television<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"707\" data-end=\"730\">\n<p data-start=\"709\" data-end=\"730\"><strong data-start=\"709\" data-end=\"728\">Photojournalism<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"731\" data-end=\"770\">\n<p data-start=\"733\" data-end=\"770\"><strong data-start=\"733\" data-end=\"770\">Print journalism and social media<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"772\" data-end=\"948\">The aim is for students to work <strong data-start=\"804\" data-end=\"819\">on location<\/strong>, in teams and under the coordination of professionals, producing journalistic content based on <strong data-start=\"915\" data-end=\"947\">first-hand travel experience<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"950\" data-end=\"1253\">At present, the organization is in the <strong data-start=\"989\" data-end=\"1018\">student selection process<\/strong> for this new expedition.
