Starting Wednesday, October 1, 2025<\/strong>, you will be able to access the contents of the new platform.<\/p>\n Important:<\/strong> On Monday, September 28<\/strong>, the platform will be reset to start anew. Any exercises completed before that date will be deleted<\/strong>. Note that if you started before October 1, previous content may be lost. The course will conclude in May 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n To promote and enhance English language training<\/strong>, the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University (UMH)<\/strong>, through its Language Center<\/strong>, has launched the IRIS UMH teaching\u2013learning program<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The main goal is for all students to obtain a B2 \u2013 FIRST Certification<\/strong> from Cambridge University<\/strong> (for which the UMH Language Center is an Official Exam Center) or through ACLES<\/strong> upon completion of their undergraduate studies.<\/p>\n This program is also aimed at:<\/p>\n Teaching and Research Staff (PDI)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Administrative and Service Staff (PAS)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Master\u2019s and Doctoral students<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n UMH Alumni community<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n Employees of companies at the UMH Science Park<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Important:<\/strong> Weekly online sessions are included.<\/p>\n A2<\/strong> \u2013 At the end, students can take the official Cambridge English A2 exam<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n B1.1<\/strong> \u2013 Equivalent to the first B1 level.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n B1.2<\/strong> \u2013 Equivalent to the second B1 level. At the end, students can take the official B1 exam<\/strong> (Preliminary) via Cambridge English or ACLES. IRIS students benefit from reduced fees<\/strong> for the Preliminary Cambridge exam.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n B2.1<\/strong> \u2013 Equivalent to the first B2 level.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n B2.2<\/strong> \u2013 Equivalent to the second B2 level. At the end, students can take the official B2 exam<\/strong> (FCE \u2013 First) via Cambridge English or ACLES, with discounted fees<\/strong> for IRIS students.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n C1.1<\/strong> \u2013 Equivalent to the first C1 level.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n C1.2<\/strong> \u2013 Equivalent to the second C1 level. Its goal is for the entire UMH community<\/strong> to acquire the necessary knowledge and certify their level in Valencian through official institutions (CIEACOVA, Junta Qualificadora de Coneixements en Valenci\u00e0, or EOI<\/strong>).<\/p>\n LLUMH is a free online training program in Valencian<\/strong>, designed for the UMH community.
