{"id":4026,"date":"2021-10-28T11:44:41","date_gmt":"2021-10-28T09:44:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/periodismo.umh.es\/?page_id=4026"},"modified":"2025-11-17T14:20:10","modified_gmt":"2025-11-17T13:20:10","slug":"observatorio-ocupacional","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/periodismo.umh.es\/en\/informacion-academica\/observatorio-ocupacional\/","title":{"rendered":"Occupational Observatory"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>FORMALIZING AN INTERNSHIP<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Once you have contacted the company to agree on the conditions of your internship and a faculty member from your degree program to act as your academic tutor, you must prepare <a href=\"http:\/\/universite.umh.es\/obsocup-gestion\/paginas\/estudiantes\/practicas1a1\/inicio.asp\">the internship documents<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>You can also consult the <a href=\"https:\/\/observatorio.umh.es\/files\/2016\/10\/01.-Formaliza-tus-pr%C3%A1cticas-estado-de-alarma-V2-mayo-2020.pdf\">instructions for formalizing internships<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Remember:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Print 3 copies of your internship annex and 2 copies of the collaboration agreement (if the company does not already have one).\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Submit them to the Occupational Observatory for processing, signed and stamped by the company and signed by yourself.<\/span>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Only original documents are accepted; scanned copies are not valid.\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Documentation must be submitted to the Occupational Observatory before your internship begins.\n<p><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Submission can be done via internal mail through any UMH campus concierge (Elche, Sant Joan d\u2019Alacant, Orihuela, or Altea), in person at the Occupational Observatory, or by <a href=\"http:\/\/observatorio.umh.es\/contacta-con-nosotros\/contacto\/\">postal mail<\/a>, preferably certified.<\/span>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If your <strong>internship is paid<\/strong> and you are receiving <strong>unemployment benefits<\/strong>, you must contact <strong>SEPE<\/strong> before starting the internship to regularize your situation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You should also <strong>be aware of tax and fiscal obligations<\/strong> related to paid internships according to current legislation.
