OF TRANSVENSAL AND PROFESSIONAL CREDITS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The curricula of UMH Bachelor\u2019s degrees include the acquisition of competencies through the completion or accreditation of a subject called <\/span><b>\u201cCenter Electives\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Completion of this subject can be achieved in the following ways:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Passing elective subjects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> within the student\u2019s current degree program.\n<p><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Passing subjects from other degree programs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in the same field of knowledge.\n<p><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Accrediting transversal and professional activities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, such as:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u2013 University cultural, sports, student representation, solidarity, and cooperation activities.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u2013 Mobility programs.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/estudios.umh.es\/files\/2014\/02\/Certificaci%C3%B3n-Idiomas_Valenciano_Reconocimiento-de-Cr%C3%A9ditos_v2.pdf\">Knowledge of foreign languages and Valencian.<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u2013 Internships in companies or institutions and internal UMH internships.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u2013 Attendance at scientific conferences, fairs, scientific-technical exhibitions, artistic exhibitions, and professional development or specialization courses.<\/span>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Procedure for requesting credit recognition for Transversal and Professional Competencies<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Deadline:<br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Requests for subjects from other degree programs in the same field: <\/span><b>September 1\u201330<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Requests for other activities (cultural, sports, languages, etc.): <\/span><b>any time<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, except from <\/span><b>July to October<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Students who are about to finish their studies may request credit recognition <\/span><b>at any time<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Where to apply:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Corresponding <\/span><b>Campus Management Centre<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\n<p><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Documentation required:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Original supporting documents and a copy for verification.<\/span>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Important considerations:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Activities must be completed during the academic years in which the student is enrolled in the degree, <\/span><b>except for language accreditation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\n<p><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Language proficiency must be certified by institutions authorized to verify the levels established by the <\/span><b>Common European Framework of Reference for Languages<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\n<p><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Activities must be
