Visit the <\/span>International Relations Office (ORI)<\/b> and, in the mobility unit, they will explain the different national and international programs, as well as the procedures and deadlines for submitting applications, agreements, etc.<\/span>

STUDENT MOBILITY PROGRAMS (Vice-Rectorate of International Relations)<\/b><\/h4>\n

These programs allow you to study <\/span>a semester or a full academic year<\/b> at another university without transferring your academic record. There are three types of mobility:<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

A) NATIONAL Mobility:<\/b> SICUE Program<\/span><\/a>
\n<\/span>B) INTERNATIONAL Mobility:<\/b> ERASMUS+ Program<\/a> (Studies<\/a> or Internships<\/a>)<\/span>
\n<\/span>C) DESTINO Program<\/a><\/b><\/b><\/h5>\n

For <\/span>Destino Scholarships<\/b>, a list of agreements between UMH and Iberoamerican or other international universities is provided. Students can check if an equivalent degree is offered to select universities when applying for the scholarship.<\/span>

BUDDY PROGRAM<\/b><\/p>\n

Developed by the <\/span>International Relations Service<\/b>, the Buddy Program helps exchange students integrate socially and academically at Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University.<\/span>
\n<\/span>UMH students <\/span>mentor exchange students<\/b> coming to UMH during the next academic year, helping them adapt to university life. In return, UMH students gain exposure to other cultures, languages, and international connections.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Objectives:<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Integrate exchange students into the university.<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Help exchange students adapt to academic and social life in Spain.<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Practice a foreign language for both students.<\/span>
    \n<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Learn about new people, languages, customs, and culture.<\/span> <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Responsibilities of UMH students participating:<\/b><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Assist the exchange student as much as possible.<\/span>
      \n<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Welcome the international student and guide them around campus.<\/span>
      \n<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Help find accommodation (NIDO program).<\/span>
      \n<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Introduce them to the local student life and city environment.<\/span>
      \n<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Introduce them to Spanish culture and society until fully integrated.<\/span> <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Participation in this mentorship program provides <\/span>advantages for applying to the ERASMUS+ international mobility program<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n
