The Journalism Degree at UMH<\/strong> offers a dynamic, rigorous training programme closely aligned with professional practice, as evidenced by its position in the top five Journalism programmes in Spain (U-Ranking, 2017). Students receive practical training in facilities equipped with computer labs, a television studio, and radio studios.At UMH Journalism, we are strongly committed to national and international mobility. Each year, around 80 places are offered across national and international destinations. Among the foreign universities partnered with the Journalism Degree are institutions in Germany, France, Croatia, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Turkey, Portugal, Mexico, and the United States.<\/p>\n
In coordination with the Employment Observatory, professional internships are offered with media outlets and local organisations. In addition, UMH Journalism students have priority for collaborating and gaining experience at Radio UMH and the Communication Service.<\/p>\n

Ryszard Kapu\u015bci\u0144ski International Seminar on Journalism, Human Rights, Migration and Borders:<\/strong> a meeting with journalists and humanists from around the world to foster dialogue and reflection on global conflicts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

Seminar on How to Report on Gender-Based Violence<\/strong>, in collaboration with the Equality Unit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

Seminar on How to Report on \u2018the Others\u2019<\/strong>, addressing issues of equality, minorities, and diversity, in collaboration with organisations outside the university.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

Employment Days:<\/strong> a seminar for students featuring UMH Journalism graduates, professionals, and experts discussing the most in-demand professional profiles in the sector.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nThe academic offering can be complemented with the Master\u2019s Degree in Innovation in Journalism<\/strong><\/a> (ONLINE modality), thanks to a faculty made up of leading professionals in Spain. In addition, UMH Journalism benefits from the research activity of its teaching staff through the work of GICOV<\/strong> (Research Group on Communication in the Valencian Community), OCAP<\/strong> (Observatory of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising), MASSIVA<\/strong> (Research Group studying the interrelation between audiovisual practices, networked practices, and mass culture), as well as scientific dissemination through the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez Communication Journal<\/strong><\/a> (MHCJ).<\/p>\n
